Sonoma County’s mild climate allows for year round enjoyment of the area’s many offerings. In addition to touring the area’s award-winning wineries, visitors can also experience fine dining along the mystic Russian River, play golf on any of the incredible courses, go hiking among the majestic redwood trees, revel in arts and culture at one of the museums or galleries, shop eclectic boutiques or take advantage of our vibrant arts and entertainment scene, including concerts and live theater at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Healdsburg’s Farmer’s Market is held every Tuesday and Saturday, from May through November and is perfect for the whole family with live entertainment and delicious local foods, fresh produce and handmade arts & crafts for sale.
Mountain biking enthusiasts will revel in the many trails located throughout Sonoma County, including Annadel State Park, Lake Sonoma and Spring Lake. Or, road cyclists can head north on Chalk Hill Road from Lancaster Estate and embark on a series of winding descents until you reach Pine Flat Road, known for being one of Sonoma’s most epic accents. |
